Rhonda Miller has worked with me and my family on 3 house renovations. The first renovation was a 1920's farmhouse in Montrose in 2006-7 almost down to the studs. Amazing reno - created a "jewel box" of a house and made it livable for a modern family - very European farmhouse type. Second reno was a 3 story traditional in the Heights in 2010-11 which included custom bookshelves, drapery, matching original wood floors from 1910s and helping decorate with customized furniture and paint colors. It also included combining 3 rooms into 1 great room with 2 super support beams added for structural integrity. Third reno was in 2015 mostly cosmetic in the Cypress area but included updating paint, installing wood floors and customized drapery and furniture again plus placement of art on walls. Rhonda also helped me stage the Montrose and Heights houses for maximum selling value and that was more than delivered. The Heights house sold in 22 days! Rhonda is honest, thorough and shows up when she is supposed to and does what she says. She listens to the client and always contributes to turning your house into a home. Everyone comments favorably on everything Rhonda and I have done together. Rhonda is also great fun to work with and makes a somewhat stressful process really enjoyable. R Miller Design has done several projects for me over the past few years. After purchasing my home, Rhonda redesigned my living room, changing my look from homey and dated to a more modern and sleek, yet comfortable room. She added some beautiful lighted cabinets and a glass sliding door to hide my kids games and toys. She made thoughtful suggestions on new furnishing and sent me pictures of her ideas. Most recently, Rhonda completely renovated my kitchen. She changed the entire footprint of the kitchen. I was concerned a bit with her "vision" that I would not have enough cabinet space for my dishes and kitchenware. Her design and modern and efficient cabinetry now allows me more space than I had. She and her contractors were so pleasant and professional. My biggest complaint when I built a pool (which Rhonda helped design) was that I never knew what was going on - days with go by with no one showing up - Not the case with Rhonda and her team. Rhonda kept me informed of exactly where we were in the process - and her team was there, usually on a full time basis.
